Solar Lights up in the paths in our parks for ambient lighting all year round
Parks are one of the few places to really get away from light pollution. We need to treasure our dark spaces.
Until all vandalism is stopped you’ll be wasting money, they will be smashed to pieces How about some really good cctv at strategic points all around the town what could pick up trouble
I like the solar footpath lights that were put along the Welshmill path a few years ago. Although a number have been damaged they are very effective when walking in the evenings.
If this goes ahead along with the plans to add floodlighting to the tennis courts one of the few town centre areas without light pollution will be lost. At night and dusk the area has bats galore and other wildlife that exist in the dark. Give them a break please.
