A pedestrian crossing is needed at the Medical Practice because the Main Street is very busy and people find it very hard at times to cross the road. As there are more residents in the village therefore more visitors to the Surgery this results in an increase in pedestrian traffic. There are also Residential and Nursing Homes which means that older people have difficulty trying to access the opposite side of the street.
