Promote the various places of interest around the village in a map which could be online and/or printed. It could include places of historical, natural or architectural value for residents to explore their own area and appeal to visitors. Shops and businesses could stock the map if printed and/ or the online version could be promoted via various partners and other heritage bodies. Copies could also be put in the glass notice boards around the village. Could potentially look at a nominal charge for a printed map, but may be simpler just to make it free. Linked to the map, we could also have an annual village Heritage Day and have tours or 'Doors Open' type events, for people to get involved in and celebrate our heritage.
