The coast of Venezuela is being polluted with solid waste and sewage waters that discourage tourism and threats a future bussiness. Creating jobs by making reciclying and processing of sawage waters a necessary venture will help us jump into a future of independence from fossil fuels.
If we don't stop the rate at which our beaches are being contaminated, we won't be able to develop a modern tourism industry in the near future. The best way to do it, in my opinion, is by making recycling plants and sewage treatment plants a source of employment for the people that live close to the coast. That would generate jobs and trigger some sense of empowerment. We could tax those who contaminate or make them part of the solution, or both.
