We are powerless against the will of our political leaders. Owning the bank is as meaningless as many of the other things I supposedly own.

According to the Committee for Monetary and Economic Reform, COMER, the Canadian government is violating its own terms stipulated in the Bank of Canada Act. COMER announced a lawsuit against the government of Canada at a press conference in December of 2011. It seems to make sense that we cannot hand over to private and often foreign banks our main means for ongoing socio-economic development. See the video attached.
