To plant an area of woodland and wildflower border planting in the field owned by the village communally to encourage wildlife ,mask the railway track and create peaceful woodland walk for villagers ,possibly with some seating.
An orchard currently exists and can be enjoyed by all. At the bottom of the field the ground is less rich and lies wet. Trees would help absorb some of the wetness and if liked could be of variants which bear an edible harvest such as walnut and cob nut. A pathway through the woods and seating would provide a lovely addition to what should be a beautiful village resource for all to enjoy. Wild flowers in the meadow would enhance the area and give huge benefits to a declining bee population
Walked past this week. All repaired and painted and looking good!
