There are LOADS of other projects which, right now, are working day + night to bring our old skool democratic processes into 2015. Your Priorities is amazing and should not reinvent the wheel, but rather pour its expertise & resources into collaborating with other projects with similar aims like www.ChangeTheFuture.co.uk if there's clearly no opportunities for working together (very unlikely!) then of course, go ahead building a wheel : )
Dispersed efforts kill the aim. It'd be ridiculous to suggest that Your Priorities is the only project looking to gather (and develop) peoples' opinions on local/regional issues, in order to directly affect change politically. There are loads of projects doing this. The real question is how we collaborate. My proposal is that Your Priorities a) focus primarily on collaboration (over building) b) share the story (of what happens) with the world to make the world better informed + support work
