The economist Kate Raworth, the creator of Doughnut Economics, has developed a toolkit that can be used by any locality to use in cross-community collabration in order to build a local economy that establishes a strong social foundation for the wellbeing of all whilst at the same time ensuring that the local economy keeps within ecological limits. This toolkit could help frame the recovery of Eastbourne and make it a truly eco one.
Amsterdam has become the first city to use the City Doughnut toolkit and prepared this document: https://www.kateraworth.com/2020/04/08/amsterdam-city-doughnut/.
