When our town returns to normal, we'll see twice daily traffic chaos around our schools which increased air pollution to boot. It doesn't have to be this way. Previous research suggests there's at least one viable School Bus service in town - linking Seaside and Upperton with the primary and secondary schools in Old Town. A safe and inexpensive bus service would give hardworking parents more choice. If the buses were environmentally friendly, so much the better!
If the busses were properly managed the atmosphere on them would be safer and more controlled, as currently the younger children are often intimidated and bullied when on the bus by older children.
