This is an important event in the Bowling calendar that brings visitors to the island who stay, eat, drink and shop locally putting much needed revenue back into the town. For many years the entries dwindled to the point the tournament was nearly ended completely as it was not viable. In 2017 a new format was embraced and new entrants were attracted who have promised to return and bring others with them. further investment would allow promotion of the sport and the island which will benefit many
