Islay and Jura lunch clubs provide a hot meal and social contact for over 70 people who are over 50 and/or have long term conditions across our communities. This is a vital service for our more vulnerable people who live in some of the most remote areas of Argyll and Bute. The clubs provide valuable social contact and peer support. The clubs rely on volunteer transport, donations and fundraising. If we were lucky to receive a grant it would enable the clubs to come together and continue to grow.
This has meant so much, for so many people on Islay and Jura.
