Reduce patient processing time in the Emergency Department. We recognise that it is suffering from an exit block which is mostly the result of the large number of investigations that some patients have to undergo before being admitted or discharged. We will increase the number of clinical decision units, thus allowing staff and resources to focus on critical patients.
